Kate Ranta is an author, speaker and a marketing professional. She is a survivor of domestic violence and gun violence. Kate and her father survived two bullets each when her ex-husband stalked her and shot them in front of the couple’s then 4-year-old son. She has been a gun control activist for several years, has appeared in documentary films, in national media, and on expert panels. Kate is the mother of two boys.
