Mark Twain's Huckleberry Wisdom

Publisher: New Holland Publishers

Who needs modern self-help gurus when a 19th century writer had it all worked out?

Adventurer, entrepreneur and writer, Mark Twain, explored the American spirit with wit, resilience, and honesty. Now known as the ‘father of American literature’, his words contain insights to help us all.

Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Wisdom contains humorous quotes from Twain’s writings that focus on animals, truth, money, success, work, pleasure, love and general wisdom.

About Colleen Sattler

Her parents were avid readers, and the highlight of the week for Colleen was to visit the local library every Friday night.

From an early age she loved books and in primary school started to read many of the classics, such as:

David Copperfield

Sense and Sensibility and

Jane Eyre.

However, Jane Austen has always remained a favorite because of the clever language, humour and words of wisdom.

Because of her love of language, Colleen has made a career out of technical writing where she documents processes and procedures.  Her love of language and phototgrahy was also the basis of her previous book 'Bear With Me'.
