This book makes a compelling narrative as it sheds light on the frequently forgotten experience of Turkey’s Christians, against a background of global conflict.

About Smpat Chorbadjian

Forced to leave his home and everything in it, Smpat Chorbadjian tells his story of the appaling hardships he and his family suffered.  Brutally whipped into walking, Smpat and his family were forced into a long journey with their fellow Armenians that brought hunger, disease, pain, sorrow and death to many.  This book is evidence of his courage, endurance and the will to survive that were needed to make the agonizing journey, and records his ultimate healing and restoration, that only came after years of extreme misery.
