Ozzie and the Island / Ozzie y la Isla

This bilingual (English/Spanish) book for children tells the story of the immigrant's experience through the eyes of a tired bird named Ozzie. After landing in a new place he encounters many obstacles in the form of monkeys, manatees, and one giant beetle, who keep him from finding food, water, and shelter. This humorous yet honest take on what happens when you're a stranger in a new land is sure to be enjoyed by Spanish and English speakers alike.
