Huntress of the Sea

When Ewan's father returns home after being lost at sea seven years previously, his body is covered with scars, and there is a wild look in his eyes. His arrival in the glen is not the only mysterious and sinister change. Monstrous screams in the night, murderous beasts, and ghostly apparitions threaten the peaceful, lonely glen. Is the newcomer really Ewan's father? Will Ewan and his mother survive the forces of evil that threaten them?

Alan Temperley Alan Temperley was born and grew up in Sunderland. Leaving school at sixteen, he joined the Merchant Navy and has sailed as deck hand and ship's officer. After a spell in the RAF he studied at Manchester and Edinburgh Universities and became a teacher of English in the Highlands. As an author he has won several awards, his books are in seventeen languages and two have been adapted into award-winning TV series, Harry and the Wrinklies and The Magician of Samarkland.
