Alan J Whiticker

Since 1986 Alan has pursued the dual roles of teacher and freelance writer. In 1997 he completed his Masters Degree in Education. Alan is a former teacher and university lecturer and the author of 40 books including British Pop Invasion (2014), The Way We Were (2013), A History of Rugby League Clubs (2004, 2007, 2011), Wanda: The Untold Story of the Wanda Beach Murders and his first children’s book The Battle for Troy – An Adaptation of Homer’s Iliad (2004).
