Ethan Bryan Ethan Bryan is an author, musician, storyteller, and passionate fan of the Kansas City Royals. At the age of six, he lost all of his hair due to an immune-system disorder called alopecia. He now gets a kick out of how many of his contemporaries are currently follically challenged. Ethan is a Springfieldian through and through, moving to the Queen City at the beginning of his second grade year where he attended Delaware, followed by Jarrett, and Kickapoo. He was elected into the Kickapoo Hall of Fame and earned a full-ride scholarship to then-SMSU, graduating from the Honors College with a degree in psychology and communication. He earned his Master’s of Divinity degree from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University, moving to Texas at the beginning of the second-hottest summer in recorded history. After working in churches for fifteen years, Ethan took a leap and jumped into the world of freelance writing. He has ghost-written books, articles, and blogs, as well as completed a 400,000 word, four-year project detailing innovative approaches for adolescent development, leadership, and faith formation. His fifth nonfiction narrative published in June 2015, a Midwest-set, father-son memoir. He still dreams of one day playing baseball for his beloved World Champion Kansas City Royals and his favorite superheroes are Batman and Spaceman Spiff.
