Some Assembly Required

This work provides a tongue-in-cheek account of the intrigues, petty rivalries and humorous incidents surrounding the preparations for the opening of the Scottish parliament. It is punctuated with appropriate quotes from John Knox - the preacher who oversaw proceedings, boxed up on a plinth in the courtyard, and contains a fly-on-the-wall perspective of the builders, workmen and others involved with the less galmorous, but just as interesting, tasks required to get the Parliament up and running.
