The Ultimate Writers Workbook

LEARNING is a repetitive process. We repeat what we are doing until it goes from a strained, awkward action to a smooth flowing one. Seldom does someone get an action right the very first time. Don't despair. For that reason, I have also repeatedly stressed issues of importance. The more you hear something, the more you do it, the more natural it will become. Imagination, like our other muscles, must be exercised, stretched, and stimulated in all possible ways. For that reason, many of the exercises in different chapters will seem to be the same. The words may be the same, but what they produce will be different, since each time you do that exercise you'll be stretching your mind muscle to the limit. Yes, it might take you some moments to limber up, but once you've started, there will (I hope) be no stopping you.
