Optical Coherence Tomography Retinal Diseases-Glucoma

OCT is a noninvasive diagnostic imaging technique that can preform high-resolution, micron scale, cross-sectional or tomographic imaging by measurung the echo time delay and intensity of back scattered light. The procedure which providesimages of the macula very similar to obtaining in vivo histopathological sections, is analogous to ultrasound, except that optical reather than acoustic reflectively is measured.
