Scotland's Islands

A Special Kind of Freedom

Compiling a lifetime of travel into one book, Clubley explores the Scottish islands with enthusiasm and love as he meets the locals, embraces the weather and admires their natural beauty. Covering a huge range of islands from Lewis to Colonsay, but also looking at issues such as the Gaelic language and preservation of community, Scotland’s Islands paints an intriguing picture of life on the islands.

Richard Clubley RICHARD CLUBLEY was born in Yorkshire on the coast of the North Sea, and has always had a desire to see what lay across the water.
