Collecting My Thoughts

Former educator and avid volunteer, Connie Evans, has compiled a broad array of essays in her new book COLLECTING MY THOUGHTS.  She tackles sixty-five diverse topics, including politics and religion. Her writing is rich with humor and reflects a life well lived. She hopes these thought-provoking pieces will prompt her readers, young and old, to share their stories and points of views with others.

Connie Evans grew up above a funeral home in Chicago and consequently learned to live each moment to the fullest. A teacher in Minnesota for many years, and former teachers’ union president, she is now an avid volunteer, with more stories to share and more wisdom to extol. Currently, she lives in North Carolina with her husband. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
