Bill Buell

William H. “Bill” Buell is a journalist for the Daily Gazette newspaper of Schenectady, New York.  He is a reporter and writer whose duties encompass feature stories that center on local and New York State history, cultural and theatrical events, and profiles of the persons involved in these areas of interest.  He is also responsible for two monthly features called “Landmarks” and “Focus on Faith.” Prior to his current assignments, he was a sportswriter and columnist for the Gazette, work for which he received numerous awards. Bill holds the B.A. in history from the University at Albany and is an active member and volunteer of the Schenectady County Historical Society.
