The Way Forward

Nurturing New Believers

This little book was written to help new Christians make the transition to a wholly different life on which they've now embarked.  The Way Forward stands as a bridge between the non-Christian, or the merely nominal church member, and those who are actively enjoying the warm relationships of fellowship in Christ.  Sadly, there is a real shortage of materials that can be used to address the critical need of nurturing a new believer.  New believers definitely need some help if they are going to be able to adjust to the fresh world of being in Christ!  In The Way Forward Michael Green gives us exactly what is needed: a refreshingly straightforward path, but a theologically sound one that also leaves room for the Holy Spirit to work.  It is aimed at those who have recently come to personal faith in Christ, but is also of value for any Christian .  The content has already proved to be fruitful, having been extensively tested in both church and university settings in America and the U.K.

Michael Green of Oxford, UK As a teacher and speaker in demand by many Christian denominations The Rev. Canon Dr. Michael Green has rightly been called a World Asset, and mentioned in the British Parliament as a National Treasure. He is an Oxford University theologian, Christian apologist, evangelist, and the author of more than 50 Christian books for lay people. Though he is an Anglican there is absolutely no mention in The Way Forward of the Anglican Church or any other church. This little book is Michael's gift to Christendom. He has been a prolific writer, with much of his work written for a popular reading audience, although he has also contributed to academic studies. Many of his books discuss the topics of evangelism and apologetics. One of Michael Green's objectives has been to equip Christian believers in their grasp of the gospel message, and to give them the confidence to share their faith with others. Michael and his wife Rosemary live in Marston, near Oxford. They have four adult children.
