Roxanne Burchartz

Adam’s Illustrator, Roxanne Burchartz, wanted to be a comic book artist since she was a kid. She later found she wanted to make drawings 'move' and discovered the world of animation. In 2008 she was assigned to work as the sole illustrator on a book written by a then unkonwn and first time author Benji. Deeply inspired by Benji’s story, Roxanne produced award winning work leading to the bestselling and Irish Book Award Winning “Before You Sleep." Roxanne now works and lives in Kilkenny City as a freelance artist, Lecturer in Motion Graphics, Sound Design & Digital Media Design at the Institute of Technology Carlow, Ireland. Roxanne continues to work closely with Benji as the sole illustrator on all Adam’s Cloud books, creating 9 enchanted masterpieces with 2 Book awards and numerous award nominations.
