Nicholas Sinisi brought his 30+ years of book industry experience to the Midpoint Sales team in March 2012. He has extensive experience in the retail, special markets, and Internet channels. After spending six years managing an assortment of B. Dalton Bookseller outlets, Nicholas defected in 1987, becoming a buyer at the Kmart/Reader's Market division of Waldenbooks, where he purchased all manner of books for the 1000-store chain. In 1992, he changed sides again, becoming a senior buyer for the Marboro direct mail catalog division of Barnes & Noble.
After seven years with the catalog, Nicholas moved to Barnes&Noble.com and bought a wide variety of subjects for the Internet retailer. After nine years as a buyer and merchandiser, specializing in graphic novels, political books, and religion, he joined Midpoint as a National Account Manager, selling to Barnes & Noble, B&N College, Bn.com, and Baker & Taylor.
Nicholas's extensive experience dealing with both multiple subjects and multiple vendors ideally equip him to help growing publishers make a strong impact at Midpoint. He lives in Northern New Jersey with his lovely wife Linda and two book-loving daughters.
